Agrupamento de Escolas da Batalha

Agrupamento de Escolas da Batalha (AEB) is in the Central Region of Portugal, more precisely in the district of Leiria. AEB includes from kindergarten to high school, therefore the ages of our students range from 3 to 18. AEB has a total of 1806 pupils attending, including pre-school, primary and secondary education, as well as the EFA (Adult Education and Training) course and 195 teachers. From the socio-economic point of view, the school includes students from different strata, coming most of them from families with low income. AEB has changed its educational approach and practices, focusing on our main target: the student. Their most important aim is to enable students to develop, grow and become committed citizens. The school has technical educational resources and fundamental equipment to assure and guarantee the quality of student learning, as well as the continuous training and lifelong learning of its educational agents and initiatives. Agrupamento de Escolas da Batalha has teachers that are invited to give lectures and workshops in Portugal and also trough Europe.

Turkey

Sarıgazi Ahmet Keleşoğlu İlkokulu

Our school is a public school that started its educational activities in Istanbul Sancaktepe in 2007. There are 1050 students, 50 teachers, 4 administrators, 40 classrooms, 4 special education classes and 10 supportive education classes in our institution. Due to the continuous immigration of our region, our school is faced with a student increase of 10% every year. In general, we have a multicultural, low-education, socio-economically deficient parent profile. For this reason, literacy courses are also given to our parents in our school. Our administrative staff consists of a manager and 3 assistant managers. Our teaching staff consists of 40 classroom teachers, 1 Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge teacher and 3 English teachers. Our school principal, who is the legal representative of our project, carried out a project as the legal representative of the coordinating institution in an EU Comenius Project covering 6 countries. We are still carrying out an Erasmus+ K229 project of which we are the coordinator (We received a 1-year extension due to the pandemic). In addition, we carry out projects as a consortium partner in Erasmus projects developed by our accredited Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education. In addition, 15 of our school teachers are members of the eTwinning platform and 9 of them are actively carrying out projects and activities. We also have teachers who have received the Etwinning quality label. Our school has become an eTwinning School as of 17/03/2020.

Hungary

Szabó Pál Általános Iskola és Alapfokú Muvészeti Iskola

Szabo Pal Elementary School was founded in 1979. The school has been operating in its current form since 2013.
The local art school and the local elementary school were merged. Our children study in two school buildings and in the Cultural House.
They have modern learning environment additionally modern technical equipment help their study almost in every classroom.
Our school provides all-day occupation for the students. The essential component of our school’s educational program is the individual skill and the development of the skills as many way as we can.
We take our children to school trips to see the beauty of the nature and the places of Hungary. They can choose from several summer camps in different subjects. There are sport and educational competitions where our bests can show their knowledge. Our students achieve successfully on national correspondent races, drawing competitions, regional educational- and poetry competitions.
We search for new methods and learning organisations to make our education more efficient. The teachers of the school do their best to support the students and to help them become successful and valuable adults, moreover we help them get the necessary skills for lifelong learning.

DAUGAVPILS UNIVERSITATE

Daugavpils University (DU) is a significant centre of science and education in Daugavpils and East Latvia. DU is a modern science based university that offers high quality education, prepares highly qualified specialists and professionals, greatly contributes to science innovation and transfer of scientific ideas to broader public and national economy. DU mission is to contribute to the development of sustainable future society by implementing scientific research on an international level and ensuring high quality education in the fields of education, humanities, social sciences, health, engineering, thus promoting the sustainable development of Latgale region and the whole country.

Italy

IC Assisi 1

The Assisi 1 Institute is composed by different kindergardens, primary schools and a middle school with students from 11 up to 14 years. Here various subjects are studied. The study of English, French, Italian, History, Geography, Art, Music, Technology, Physical Education, Maths, Science and Religious Education provides theoretical and practical training: the theoretical one will allow to quickly and easily learn all the notions and procedures that will be required in the world of secondary high schools, whatever the field of application. The practical training offers the opportunity to learn and be ready for attending more technical secondary schools. The school in general also offers the possibility of acquiring a humanistic and literary education that will allow to address students with an adequate language and with the necessary logic to understand the complexity of the facts. The presence in the school of scientific and linguistic laboratories will provide a theoretical and practical acquisition. This will also give teenagers the chance to compare theory and experience. Moreover, the Institute gives students the possibility to expand their knowledge by taking part in: – European mobility project (Erasmus +); – Theatrical and musical workshop activities; – English language certification; – Sports group (activity at the Institute’s gym).

France

Lycee D'enseignement General Et Technologique Frantz Fanon

Frantz Fanon High school is located on the North Atlantic coast of Martinique, a French overseas department at Trinité. It is a campus with general and technological fields of studies. It welcomes nearly 1200students and 117 teachers. The whole staff approaches 222 people. It is part of Martinique Academy and belongs to Zone B as far as holidays are concerned.
La Trinité is considered as the sixth most important town in the country with a sub- Prefecture and a hospital. It has very important fishing and agricultural traditions. It also shelters a small industrial area; it is more rural than urban.
Students are from 15 to 19 and mostly come from neighbor towns with mixed social and economic backgrounds.

Melahat Sefizade Ortaokulu

Melahat Sefizade Secondary School is a public institution which is located in Kadıköy, a well-known district of İstanbul in Turkey. It prepares students for high school by teaching in all common lessons. It organizes educational and cultural activities. It tries to meet students’ needs in education and helps them to develop physically and mentally for life.
It provides a suitable education and training environment for students’ physical, cognitive, emotional, social and cultural development. In the school, students’ participation in the decisions that make up the school system is ensured through the class representatives and school representative system. EU projects and activities are implemented widely in the school.

Lithuania

Kretingos r. Vydmantu gimnazija

Kretingos r. Vydmantai Gymnasium is a welcoming community near the Baltic Sea, with 368 students and 38 teachers, offering education from kindergarten to 12th grade. We support students from diverse backgrounds through a dedicated team of specialists. Our school actively participates in international and local projects like Erasmus+, eTwinning, and Euroscola, engaging students in topics such as climate change, politics, and human rights. We promote sports with various teams and tournaments, encouraging a healthy lifestyle. A vibrant youth club fosters creativity and cross-cultural connections through debates, role-plays, and seminars on human rights. Our staff ensures strong academic and extracurricular engagement, including visits to the Lithuanian Parliament for discussions on politics and economics. Through education, international collaboration, sports, and creativity, we aim to provide a well-rounded, enriching experience for all students.

Stavanger IT kompetanse AS

Stavanger IT Kompetanse AS (STITKO) is a private service institution based in Stavanger, Norway, specializing in IT services, digital competence development, and training programs for individuals and businesses. STITKO provides software development, network administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and database management services, either as project-based solutions or ongoing managed services. The organization also offers digital skills training, covering both technical and soft skills, such as communication, leadership, and project management. Additionally, STITKO contributes to the LINNS project with its expertise in IT, ensuring the integration of innovative digital solutions and technological support to enhance project outcomes.
